The cot's slide-away side panel raises and lowers at the push of a button, making it simple to reach inside and soothe a baby in the night. It also comes with 11 height adjustments that allow it to fit on the mattress of almost any size bed and it includes adjustable folding feet to ensure that it sits at just the right height.

The cot is padded, has mesh sides that allow for more ventilation, and its mattress is made of high-density foam to provide extra protection. It can also be cleaned, so you can keep the crib clean. It comes with a fitted bed sheet that can be used for the crib.

Contrary to other cribs that are bedside like the Roomie Glide is suitable for all beds, including divans, thanks to its straps and clip attachment. It can also be used as a stand-alone crib when it's not connected to the bed. It's packed with amazing features that were specifically designed with the bonding between parents and babies in mind.

It is important to remember that this crib won't last as long once your baby turns six months old. You'll need to purchase a larger crib. However, overall Roanna found that the Joie Roomie Glide was a really good buy and she particularly liked its elegant design.

The Roomie Glide is available to purchase at John Lewis for PS160, which Roanna thought was a reasonable price for a cot with these advanced features. She also liked how it looked in the bedroom and believed that the grey color is a good fit for modern homes. However, she did point out that it isn't a great idea to rock a young baby, as it can create an unhealthy habit that can affect later sleep patterns.

The Tutti Bambini CoZee

The Tutti Bambini CoZee bedside crib is designed to give you an uninterrupted night's sleep. It features a drop side rail that is easily lowered to feed your baby at night without having to disturb your baby or get them out of bed it's ideal for mothers who are breastfeeding! It's also light and easy to move around during nap time or for travel.

We love that it's made from soft materials with mesh sides that are breathable, which promote airflow and comfort. It's available in oak and charcoal, with a range of melange fabric options that work well with a variety of decor styles. Anna found it to be sturdy and secure once attached to her bed. The legs clicked into place and the zippers were secure to ensure safety. It took her around 10 minutes to assemble and did not require tools, and comes with clear instructions and a video as well as a customer support number if you encounter any problems.

In addition to the standard features you'd expect from a crib for your bed such as the ability to attach to your existing bed with a stay-in-place connection system and six height levels The CoZee comes with an additional incline option that can be used to help aid congestion or reflux in babies. It's also machine-washable, a necessity with all the dribble, vomit and snot that come with having a baby!

The CoZee is an excellent choice if you want to keep your child close during the first six months of learning to sleep independently. It can be used as a cot, changing station and toddler bed. It can even be converted into a sofa bed with the addition of an extension pack. While it won't magically make your baby sleep or feed them, it can rock them and send them off.

The Chicco Next2Me Magic

This is one of the more expensive models, but it has a wide array of features. It's designed to be used as a side sleeper or a standalone crib, and is suitable from birth to six months. It's easy to open and close the side panel with the new mechanism. It's also more flexible than the predecessor, with 11 different height settings and retractable legs for a secure place under any bed.

Our testers loved the ease of access to the side panel, which can be moved up and down by pressing a button. This was especially helpful during nighttime feedings as they could reach in and pick up their baby without waking them up.

It is possible to lower the side panel by itself, but this isn't advised, as it increases the risk that your baby will fall out of the cot. However, the safety locking mechanism guarantees that it can only stay down when attached to the bed properly. This is an excellent feature to have for peace mind, especially when you're breastfeeding and need frequent nighttime feedings.

Telescopic legs permit the Chicco Next2Me Magic to be used with any bed, including divan bases or beds with drawers. It features a tilting feature to help reflux babies, and an option to rock to soothe them to sleep after eating. It's also extremely large and offers excellent ventilation thanks to its mesh sides.

Our testers found the Next2Me Magic easy to set up and use, though it does have quite a long instruction manual.  bedside crib with wheels  is a little heavier than other side-sleepers, but it's easily moved from one place to another. It's small enough to be able to fit in a travel bag when not in use, which is an advantage in the event that you have to transport it. The only issue our testers have found is that the side panel did not flex as much compared to other models. This caused it to be a bit more difficult to see the baby from your bed.

If you're in search of an ideal bedside crib that can develop with your child, then the Shnuggle Air is definitely worth a look. The Shnuggle Air crib is designed to breathe, which is different from other cribs. The dual-view mesh side panels and airflow mattress that is hypoallergenic and breathable allow for maximum airflow, keeping your baby cool and comfortable. The gentle slope can help reduce colic and reflux. The zip-down side lets you to feed your baby or comfort them at night.

The cot conversion kit (sold separately) is also well-designed, with clear instructions and everything you need to begin. It took us about an hour to put together and was fairly straightforward. The only downside was the absence of captions written on some of the pictures which made it difficult to understand certain steps. Overall, the process was easy and the materials used were of high quality.

In the co-sleeping position, we discovered the Shnuggle Air to be an ideal choice for breastfeeding mothers and women who have had a c-section because it lets them easily reach out to their newborn for comfort and feeding without having to leave their bed. It's ideal for parents who do not want to go through the burden of putting their infant in a traditional cot or getting out of it.

In our tests we observed the gliding motion of this next to me crib to be particularly beneficial in getting babies to sleep after midday and nighttime feeds. The drop-down sides make it easy to feed or soothe babies during the night. This was a major selling point for our exhausted moms who took part in our tests. Although it doesn't rock or have additional features like a sound system the Joie Roomie Glide's sleek design and functionality are a welcome addition to our top crib reviews for bed.
