One account buys and sells. A cultivator who lists flower can buy clones the same afternoon; a retailer can post what it needs on the Wanted Board and answer a distributor’s request the next day.

Buying

  2. Add your license for wholesale productsAdd your license number under Licenses in your dashboard. Prices, quantities and contact details for plant-touching products open once we have checked it, and only for listings in your state. Seeing a listing is not permission to trade; confirm the rules that apply to you.
  3. Message the sellerThe sale, the payment and the delivery are between the two of you. BudTrader is never a party to them.

Selling

  1. Complete your company profileCompany name, what you do, where you are and how to reach you. Listings cannot be added until it is complete.
  2. Add your license for wholesale productsYou must have a valid cannabis license in the state where you advertise wholesale products. Add the license number under Licenses in your dashboard; your listings then show the date we checked it.
  3. Prepare your listingPick a listing type, add the product details and a photo, and review the requirements the form shows before it goes live. A draft is free to save while you complete them.
  4. Answer inquiriesInquiries arrive in your dashboard with a simple pipeline. Other sellers never see them.

The questions new members ask most, answered plainly.

Does BudTrader sell cannabis?

No. BudTrader is an advertising and marketplace platform. Businesses list what they offer and other businesses contact them; the sale itself, the payment and the delivery are between those two licensed businesses, and BudTrader is never a party to them. We never sell, ship, handle or take payment for cannabis.

Who can see wholesale prices and contact details?

Signed-in businesses holding a license we have checked, in the same state as the listing. Everyone else sees a summary without prices, quantities or contact details.

What does “License verified” mean?

On the date shown, we looked the license up in the state authority’s public record and it was active. It says nothing else about the business or its products, so do your own checks before you trade.

What do I need before I can add a listing?

A completed company profile; a draft can be saved from then on. To publish a wholesale cannabis listing you also need a license in the listing's state that we have checked, the required details and a photo, and, when paid plans are on, a plan with room for it. The form shows which of these still stand.

Do I need separate accounts to buy and to sell?

No. One account does both: the same dashboard holds your listings, your saved items, your requests and your inbox, so you buy and sell from one place.

What does it cost?

Buying is free. Sellers choose a plan from $19 a month, published on the pricing page, to publish listings; drafts are free. If a listing is marked Featured or Sponsored, that seller paid for the position.

I am a retailer. What is here for me?

Every wholesale listing in your state, with prices once your license is checked; saved searches that email you new listings; and the Wanted Board, where you post what you need without your name and licensed sellers respond.
